Education in JapanIn Japan Education is a very important thing. They start there school year in April and it ends in March in the next year. There school grades go for six elementary school levels, three middle school levels, and three high school levels. Education is though as a good thing and handwork and achievement are very common in there schools. They might not work as hard as some other countries such as Korea and China.
Kindergarten and Pre SchoolIn Japan's Pre-Schools almost one and only goal is that your child will play and have fun. This is something that stands out with Japan because even us who are in the United States use Pre School to teach kids very basic things. Now onto to Kindergarten, in Kindergarten they do teach the kids some of the basic elements to succeed in education but it still isn't very educational. So overall this level of schooling is purely just for fun for kids. Elemntary SchoolElementary School is very similar to are types of schools. They teach and do everything we do,but based of off some surveys Japanese kids seem to love this level of school. This seems to be a change because we over in the States dont seem like we ever like school so thats different. Although they still have issues including bulling which is includes calling names, physical contact, etc. Middle SchoolMiddle School or Junior High School as it is known in Japan is very educational for students and is a bit harder then other schools. They study hard and try there very best to get the best grades possible. I would have to say that is a very different perspective on school then some students in other places. Anyway they are trying to enter High School with good grades and pass so that they will be successful in life. High SchoolLast but not least is High School. High School as in Middle School operates the same,but unlike in America all High school students no matter if they go to Private or Public have to ware a uniform certain days. Although the pacific dress code changes from school to school. Education wise Japan is very far ahead because of there very bright High School students and there wiliness to make there name known in there success.
